Without your help, we wouldn’t be able to connect international students with host families, take students on excursions into the American wilderness, or even meet a student for coffee. These life-changing experiences happen because of your support.

USA Homestays is classified as a 501(c)3 organization, which means contributions are tax deductible. You will receive confirmation of your giving as well as a full year-end report. You may request a mailed copy of USA Homestays' governing documents, IRS Form 1023, and/or IRS Form 990 by emailing us at account@usahomestays.org.

We do our utmost to honor the intent of the donor. If you want to contribute to the general operations of USA Homestays or support the work of our staff in various cities, please designate it.

DONOR ADVISED FUNDS

Donor Advised Funds are the fastest-growing giving method and tax-efficient way to manage charitable donations. Donor Advised Funds allow donors to make a charitable contribution, receive an immediate tax deduction, and then recommend grants from the fund over time.  USA Homestays is proud to be a resource and partner to several of the United States’ largest Donor Advised Fund sponsor organizations and their philanthropic services teams.

Grants made to USAH through Donor Advised Funds can be designated for USAH to use wherever the need is greatest or to support specific staff or projects by clicking here. Clients of Fidelity Charitable, Schwab Charitable, and BNY Mellon can easily make a designation through the DAF Direct window on this page. USAH's tax I.D. number is 46-5095445.

GIVE STOCK

There are numerous advantages to giving stock directly to USA Homestays. You can explore some of them here.

USAH has established an account with Fidelity that enables the immediate transfer of stock donations. If you’re interested in transferring stock, please email USAH for details. We will provide you with our account information and you can let us know how you would like the gift directed (which project or staff member you’d like to support).

NOTE TO CURRENT DONORS:

  • If you've already created a Kindful account, you can log in here.

  • If you want to create a Kindful account to view your donation history, update contact information, or update your donation method, you can create an account here. (Please note that in order to view your donation history, you'll need to confirm your identity by clicking the "Confirm my account" button in an email you'll receive from Kindful after creating your account. Then your history will sync the next time you log into your Kindful account.)

  • If you're currently donating via monthly ACH or Paypal prior to creating a Kindful account, you will not be able to edit your payment information via Kindful. We encourage you to create a new recurring donation through your Kindful account and then email us at account@usahomestays.org asking us to cancel your existing recurring ACH/Paypal donation. That way you'll be able to update your payment information online yourself through Kindful going forward.
