Making Indy Home

USA Homestays has been placing international college students into local homes since 2012. We have a strong partnership with Indy Internationals to provide a host of services and events, enabling students to adjust quicker to life in Indianapolis.

Sven Christiansen runs the Indianapolis office, and is also President of USAH. He focuses on placing good students with good families, making the homestay the best possible experience for both student and host family.

In addition to providing homestays, we offer adventure trips a few times every year (hiking a canyon in Arizona, camping in the Colorado Rockies, exploring an island in Lake Michigan), local fun stuff (like the Indy 500, Colts and Pacers games, etc.), and more.

Sven and his family have hosted many students in their own home since 2016 and have had a blast with each of them. In fact, they’ve become part of the family.
